The mission of the Army Junior ROTC program is “TO MOTIVATE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BE BETTER CITIZENS.” To accomplish this mission, the program of instruction is designed to develop citizenship and patriotism, self-reliance, responsibility, self-discipline, communicative skills, appreciation for physical fitness, leadership and managerial skills.

Parents, Drill Team and Color Guard practice for all cadets interested in joining the Drill Team and Color Guard will take place Monday and Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:20 weekly starting on August 27th 2018. Drill Team/Color Guard Competition: The Warhorse Battalion JROTC Drill Team and Color Guard will be traveling to Bamberg SC to participate in the 1st of three Low Country Drill Team and Color Guard meets. The 1st competition will take place on Saturday, September 22nd from 9-2:30 p.m. Cadets performing in the competition are to arrive at the JROTC Battalion Bldg at 7 am on the 22nd.
